Monster Kickabout will be returning this summer to support Youth Sport Trust’s National School Sports Week. Watch this space for further details and how your school can join in!
We’re back for a special one-off Euro 2024 event, helping to deliver National School Sports Week with the Youth Sport Trust.
With the Euro 2024 championship kicking off on June 14th, right before National School Sports Week on 17th – 21st June, Monster Kickabout is supporting the Youth Sport Trust in joining the government’s sports strategy “Get Active: a strategy for the future of sport and physical activity”.
The strategy aligns perfectly with the Youth Sports Trust’s mission to ensure that all children have access to 60 active minutes a day.
Monster Kickabout will take place during National School Sports Week, and thanks to your feedback from 2023, we will include bigger and better free resources, games ideas, equipment, and chances to win prizes for you and your school.
Here’s what the teachers who took part last year had to say about why you should sign up…
“Some of the kids at my school might not have played much football before, but they got involved in the event and embraced the fun of sport”
Lark Hall Primary School
“Schools get supplied with loads of equipment and coaching ideas, and Monster Kickabout has also helped these children mentally, dealing the stresses of school and home life”
George Hoy and Emily Webster
St. Marks West Essex Catholic School
“The reason schools should be signing up is because you’re broadening so many horizons with so many young children”
Thomas Lord Audley School

Every school will also receive a full set of digital lesson plans to help your school host an epic week of football fun! There will also be opportunities to win school visits and other prizes through spot competitions.
Of course, we’d love to see all your monster efforts. Simply tag your posts with #MonsterKickabout
We will email all schools that selected on 3rd June 2024 If you were successful, this email will also contain information on when you will receive your kit packs.
If you’re not part of the first 2024 schools to sign up then do not fear, you’ll still receive all the resources and lesson plans you need to host a Monster Kickabout week to remember!
Any school in the UK is eligible for a free equipment pack. If you are not a UK school, you can still sign up to the event and receive the free resources to take part in Monster Kickabout, but you will not be eligible for a free equipment pack.
If multiple entries for a single school are received, the first entry date will be used. A school will only be eligible to receive one pack.
All packs are allocated to the school and not the individual, and will always be sent to the school address.
